Mindful Making: T-shirt Yarn and Crocheted Totes
Do you have stained or ripped t-shirts? Or other clothing that holds sentimental value? Rather than adding to the 11 million tons of material sent to landfills, learn how to repurpose those items into something useful. Use mindful techniques to create t-shirt yarn and crochet baskets, totes, or hot pads. Bring a very sharp pair of scissors to cut material and a large crochet hook (N is best, but K-N would be acceptable). T-shirts in a variety of colors will be freely available or feel free to bring your own items.
