Tia Fischer discovered her passion for dance in 7th grade where she competed competitively and went on to compete at the collegiate level with the Barton Dance Team earning multiple top-3 finishes at NDA College Dance and Cheerleading Nationals. She majored in college in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Dance. Tia was also a part of the Barton Dance Company in a college. She is trained in jazz, hip hop, pom, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, tap, high kick, modern, and tumbling, she brings both strong technique and real competitive experience to her students. Tia has coached at East Ridge High School, Park High School, and Salt & Light Dance Studio. Now living in Silver Bay with her family, she is excited to create a positive space where dancers can have a safe place to grow and learn.

Creative Movement 

Ages 2 - 4

Tuesdays & Wednesdays

January 6th - April 29th

10:30am - 11:00am

A fun way to Bond and Move! Dancers will enjoy creative movement fun alongside a caregiver/parent. We will nurture developing minds using props, and using our creative minds as we learn dance steps. We will hold a recital at the end of the session for family and friends, date TBD. 

A $45 (or under) costume fee will be required, dancer will keep the costume.  

Required practice attire: 

Pink ballet leotard dress, footed tights in the shade “ ballet pink”, and pink ballet slippers

Beginner Dance Level 1 - Jazz

Ages 4 - 7

Wednesdays

January 7th - April 29th

5:00pm - 5:45pm

Dancers will learn the foundation of Jazz technique. This class is high energy, and a fun environment. We will have a structured class with a warm up, across the floor progressions, and learning new skills and steps. We will conclude our session with an end of the session recital, date TBD. 

A $45 (or under) costume fee will be required, dancer will keep the costume.  

Required practice attire: 

black athletic leggings or black spandex with tan tights, a neutral color shirt without patterns, tan jazz shoes.

Beginner Dance Level 1 - Ballet

Ages 4 - 7

Tuesdays

January 6th - April 28th

5:00pm - 5:45pm

Dancers will learn the foundations of ballet steps in a positive environment. We work on technique, and developing strength and flexibility in a structured format. We will have an end of the session recital they will perform in, date TBD. 

A $45 (or under) costume fee will be required, dancer will keep the costume.  

Required practice attire: 

pink leotard, any color ballet skirt, footed tights in the shade “ballet pink”, and pink Ballet slippers.

Beginner Dance Level 2 - Jazz

Ages 8 - 13

Wednesdays

January 7th - April 29th

3:45pm - 4:45pm

Dancers will progress in their Jazz technique. This class is high energy, and a fun environment. We will have a structured class with a warm up, across the floor progressions, and learning new skills and steps, jumps, leaps and turns. We will conclude our session with an end of the session recital, date TBD. 

A $45 (or under) costume fee will be required, dancer will keep the costume.  

Required practice attire: 

black athletic leggings or black spandex with tan tights, a neutral color shirt without patterns, tan jazz shoes.

Beginner Dance Level 2 - Ballet

Ages 8-13

Tuesdays

January 6th - April 28th

3:45pm - 4:45pm

Dancers will progress in their ballet technique. We will work on pushing combinations and connecting steps, while introducing some new steps. We will continue to work on technique, and develop strength and flexibility in a structured format with a warm up, center, and combinations. We will have an end of the session recital they will showcase their growth in!  Date TBD. 

A $45 (or under) costume fee will be required, dancer will keep the costume.  

Required practice attire: 

black Leotard, any color ballet skirt, footed tights in the shade “ballet pink”, and pink Ballet slippers.
