TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS Assistance is available to help families pay for preschool & childcare. If your family qualifies for Free or Reduced lunch, please apply for all options depending on your child's enrollment. Please confirm your income for the Preschool sliding fee scale and apply for scholarships when you register. Tuition and scholarship funding directly supports programming. Funding is limited and awards are competitive. Sliding Fee Scale Preschool is funded with tuition. If paying the full amount is a hardship for your family, your household gross income may qualify for reduced tuition. To determine your tuition on the sliding fee scale, please provide Community Education with a copy of your taxes, W2 or last two pay stubs. In addition to the sliding fee scale, families with incomes under the Free & Reduced Lunch guidelines may be eligible for Pathway 1 or 2 Early Learning Scholarships. If you qualify, please apply for both Pathway 1 & 2 scholarships.Free & Reduced Lunch eligibility guidelines Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarships Pathway 1 funds may be used at Little Agates Preschool, Little Mariners Preschool & Little Mariners Childcare Center. Pathway 1 scholarships typically cover 100% of Little Agates & Little Mariners Preschool tuition. The Northland Foundation is helping connect families in our region with state Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarships up to $8,500 per child, per year. Children ages 3 to 4 years old may qualify based on household income. Scholarships are paid directly to the Parent Aware-rated setting of the family’s choice. Pathway 2 Early Learning Scholarships Pathway 2 Early Learning Scholarships are available for children attending Little Mariners and Little Agates Preschools. Pathway 2 scholarships cover the entire cost of tuition. Scholarship funds are limited, so please apply when you register. Pathway 2 Scholarships cover 100% of Little Agates & Little Mariners Preschool tuition.
