TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS Assistance is available to help families pay for preschool & childcare. Preschool programs are directly funded by tuition and scholarships. If your family needs tuition assistance, please apply for the scholarships listed below and provide income verification for the sliding fee scale when you register. Funding is limited. Please apply early. Sliding Fee Scale Preschool is tuition funded. If paying the full amount is a hardship for your family, your household gross income may qualify for reduced tuition. Income guidelines are based on free & reduced lunch eligibility guidelines. To determine your tuition on the sliding fee scale, please provide Community Education with a copy of your taxes, W2 or last two pay stubs. In addition to the sliding fee scale, families may be eligible for Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarship or Pathway 2 Early Learning Scholarship. Pathway 1 scholarships typically cover 100% of Little Agates & Little Mariners Preschool tuition. The Northland Foundation is helping connect families in our region with state Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarships up to $15,000 per child, per year. Children ages 3 to 4 years old may qualify based on household income. Scholarships are paid directly to the Parent Aware-rated setting of the family’s choice.
