Minnehaha School Two Harbors We are a 4 star parent aware rated program, which is the highest rating awarded. We provide high quality education that nurtures the whole child. Enrollment for the 2024- 2025 is open! 2024 - 2025 School year Information: Little Agates 4’s: Children must be 4 by Sept 1st, 2024 Tuition = $275 4 days per week for 3 hours Registration fee = $50 Little Agates 3’s: Children must be 3 by September 1, 2024 Tuition = $205 3 days per week for 3 hours Registration fee = $50 Wrap care may be available through TH Kids & Co! Please contact: kgraden@isd381.org for availability. Children must be toilet trained to attend our preschool programs. Children must complete Early Childhood Screening before attending Preschool 4’s programs. Our preschool programs provide a fun, educational and welcoming learning environment. We focus on building social emotional skills, literacy and language, physical and emotional wellness as well as preparing them to be part of our K-12 learning path. Our school based program provides the accommodations of the school building such as the gym, cafeteria, playground and other facilities letting children feel comfortable learning in the school they could attend as a Kindergartener. Our objectives utilize developmentally appropriate activities which enhance a child's social development (particularly play and getting along with other children, relating to other adults, interacting as a group member, and learning to follow directions, etc.); To enhance a child's creativity through art projects, music experiences, dramatic play, story time, etc.; To stimulate a child intellectually by exposing the child to concepts and ideas and letting the child internalize on his/her own; not direct teaching or measuring accomplishments. To have fun! Children need to be registered for Preschool by September 1 of the applicable school year to attend. Once the year has started students are not typically added to the classroom. Late or mid-year enrollments may be considered depending on the class size and child's previous preschool enrollment. Are concerned about paying Preschool tuition? We have several options to help. If your family is eligible for free or reduced lunch, you may qualify for a Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarship or Pathway 2 Early Learning Scholarship which would cover 100% of tuition. Pathway 1 Early Learning Scholarship Pathway 2 Early Learning Scholarship You may be eligible for reduced tuition based on your family’s income. Income verification for the last 2 pay periods or last year’s income is required to determine where your family falls on our Sliding Fee Scale. Open Swim - Summer 2024 - Silver Bay All swimmers must be able to follow instructions and behave appropriately. If not potty trained, a swim diaper is required. THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE LOCKER ROOMS THIS SUMMER DUE TO BUILDING RENOVATIONS! Please come as prepared as you can. Fridays: June 7th - August 23rd (no class July 5th) 11 sessions $15 per person - $45 family max Please register each person in your household that may attend.

Parent & Tot Swim Class - Summer 2024 Fun and inclusive class, to help your little one get more comfortable in the water. Parent(s) and tots join together in the pool for this course. I will help teach the fundamentals of swimming and get your child more comfortable with being in the water, by playing games and singing songs. This is a self paced course designed for the instructor to be there to guide you and give you skills to practice. THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE LOCKER ROOMS THIS SUMMER DUE TO BUILDING RENOVATIONS! Please come as prepared as you can. The small bathroom by the Fitness Center will be open. Summerblue Light "Animals in Motion" The traditional Summerblue Arts is back in a new format! Summerblue Light Animal in Motion is a Visual and Performing Arts program for youth ages 7-12. The program takes place at Director Lon Church’s beautiful 40 acre Flood Bay property. There will be a final art showing and live performances on Friday July 12 @ 3 and Saturday, July 13 at noon. Dates: July 8 - 12, 2024 M-F, 9:00am - 3:00pm Location: Lon Church’s Flood Bay property Tuition: $140

Two Harbors Driver Education Summer 2024 Parent Meeting *This meeting is for parents and students enrolled in our Summer 2024 class* The parent night for driver education is meant to educate parents on the laws regarding teen drivers, the risks involved related to driving and teens, and to equip parents with tools and strategies for a successful driving experience for them and their teens. Teens are required to attend this meeting with their parent; it does not count towards their required 30 hours of class time. Parent participation reduces required practice driving time from 50 to 40 hours. Certificates are awarded for completion of the Parent Session. DRILLS FOR SKILLS is a 3-day skill development camp that focuses on drills for improving a player’s overall ball-handling skills through dribbling, passing, athleticism, footwork, and confidence to take their game to the next level. This is a FUN fast-paced camp for committed players. Two Harbors Pony Football Two Harbors Agates Pony Football is for students in grades 3-6. Numbers permitting, there will be a 3rd/4th grade team and a 5th/6th grade team. Practices held Mon-Thurs at Ogegard Park. The game schedule will come out in the summer (parents will be responsible for transportation to and from games). Games will be played primarily on Saturday mornings. TWO HARBORS QUILTERS Do you love quilting? Two Harbors Quilters is a quilt group that meets once a month to share ideas and techniques while having FUN! This group is not a quilt guild. There are no dues, no rules, and no quilt police. We will be under the umbrella of the Two Harbors Community Education Program. A typical meeting will consist of a brief welcome and introduction, a game and prize drawing, demonstration, show and tell, question and answer session, idea sharing, and special activities and projects. Ideas for group activities and meetings content will be up to all members. New ideas welcome! Activities could include swap events, challenges, guest speakers, quilt alongs, charity work, trash to cash events, block lotto, trunk shows, quilt shows and more! This group is open to everyone interested in quilting. All skill levels are welcome. Dates for meetings will be the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at T.H.H.S. in the Community Room.
