    Early Childhood Screening is recommended at age 3 and required for all children before they enter kindergarten. Screening includes a quick check of a child's development, hearing and vision screening, height & weight and social emotional development. Resources and recommendations will be shared. Children need to complete Early Childhood Screening only once between the age of 3 and 5 years of age.

Screening is required for entrance into kindergarten. However, this is not a kindergarten readiness screening. Ideally, this screening will take place when a child is 3 years old.     Elementary Football Fun Camp 2024 Kids going into 1st - 6th Grade (School year 2024 - 2025) will learn football skills and have fun practicing in football activities during this 1 day, 1 hour camp. It is "non-contact” and no equipment is required. Workout clothes and cleats are recommended.     Individual Band Lessons for Experienced Musicians Here’s your chance to build on your band instrumental talent! THHS band director Max Kelley is providing one-on-one lessons to anyone of any age. Mr. Kelley will help build on your current skill level, whatever that may be, and grow your talent. This is a great opportunity for students passionate about improving musically, or for adults who might be looking to get back into playing their chosen instrument. Renaissance tickets can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time through the Minnesota Renaissance website. Community Education is taking a trip to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee MN! A long time Minnesota tradition, the festival is a gathering of the finest crafters and artisans, a cornucopia of food, challenging and adventurous games, music, and stages full of acts of comedy and skill from this historic time period.On Saturday September 21st the bus will leave William Kelley School parking lot in Silver Bay at 7:30am and travel to Two Harbors. The bus will depart the Two Harbors High School Cedar Road parking lot at 8:15am. The bus will travel straight to the Renaissance, arriving about 11:30am. The bus will load again at 4:30pm, returning to Two Harbors at approximately 7:30pm, and then on to Silver Bay. This trip is open to all ages. Children 18 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
