    Agate Flag Football

    Agate Flag Football Program *Open to all students entering Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade in the Fall of 2024* Agate Flag football is a great introduction to the game. Flag football takes place two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday). Participants will have the opportunity to play at halftime of a varsity Agate game.     Agate Football Camp

    Summer 2024 Agate Youth Football Camp *Attention any student (boy or girl) who will be entering K-6 grade in the Fall of 2024 Why participate in the Agate Youth Football Camp? You will learn the fundamentals of the game of football while having fun and improving yourself as a football player with your friends. You will need shorts/sweats, t-shirt/sweatshirt, football cleats, and a water bottle. Coach Andy Morsette as well as members from the Varsity Staff, Jr. High, Pony Football Coaching Staff, and various Varsity Agate players will serve as instructors. Date: Monday, 7/22/24-Thursday, 7/25/24 Time: 3:00 - 4:30 PM Location: THHS Practice Field Fee: $40.00 per student (includes a camp t-shirt)

    Community Theater Fall Musical

    Two Harbors Community Theatre Fall Musical: Broadway Revue If you enjoy sing, dancing or acting, this is for you! Perform musical numbers from some of Broadway’s biggest hits. Several full company numbers(everyone) as well as solos and small groups (by audition) Open to all ages from 5 years old to Senior Citizens. Rehearsals begin Aug 19, show dates Nov 15 & 16. Rehearsals Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00. Not everyone is needed for every rehearsal Ages 11 and under rehearse 1 night per week and will be excused at 7:30 on school nights. Teens and adults will attend 1-2 nights per week. Registration fee will cover show T-shirts and a personal theatrical make up kit. $50 individual, $90 family Contact THCTinfo@gmail.com for questions and more information.     MN Renaissance Festival ~ September 21, 2024

    Minnesota Renaissance Festival - September 21, 2024 The deadline to register online is September 6th, 2024 The cost is $35 per person. Includes the motor coach transportation only. Renaissance tickets can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time through the Minnesota Renaissance website. Community Education is taking a trip to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee MN! A long time Minnesota tradition, the festival is a gathering of the finest crafters and artisans, a cornucopia of food, challenging and adventurous games, music, and stages full of acts of comedy and skill from this historic time period.On Saturday September 21st the bus will leave William Kelley School parking lot in Silver Bay at 7:30am and travel to Two Harbors. The bus will depart the Two Harbors High School Cedar Road parking lot at 8:15am. The bus will travel straight to the Renaissance, arriving about 11:30am. The bus will load again at 4:30pm, returning to Two Harbors at approximately 7:30pm, and then on to Silver Bay. This trip is open to all ages. Children 18 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Community Education is again taking a trip to the Minnesota State Fair! Monday, August 26th is a designated “Seniors Day”, with special activities and deals at the fair for those 65 and older.     Stretch and Tone July

    Stretch and Tone This class is designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility; increase core stability and bone density by combining light weight lifting with weight bearing exercise and stretching. This class is open to all levels and can be modified for each individual. Dress in comfortable clothing. If you have an exercise mat and 3 or 5 pound weights, please bring them with you. This class will continue on a month to month basis . Instructor: Melanie Mojkowski Date: Mondays and Wednesdays (class will continue each month based on enrollment) Time: 4:30pm-5:30pm Location: THHS Main Hallway Fee: Based on the number of sessions for that month.

    Two Harbors Pony Football

    Two Harbors Pony Football Two Harbors Agates Pony Football is for students in grades 3-6. Numbers permitting, there will be a 3rd/4th grade team and a 5th/6th grade team. Practices held Mon-Thurs at Ogegard Park. The game schedule will come out in the summer (parents will be responsible for transportation to and from games). Games will be played primarily on Saturday mornings. Date: Monday-Thursday, 8/12/24-10/17/24 *Informational Parent Meeting and Equipment pick-up: Monday, August 12,2024 Time: 4:00 - 5:30 PM Location: Odegard Park Fee: $100.00 and this includes ALL equipment (with the exception of football cleats)

    Two Harbors Quilters

    TWO HARBORS QUILTERS Do you love quilting? Two Harbors Quilters is a quilt group that meets once a month to share ideas and techniques while having FUN! This group is not a quilt guild. There are no dues, no rules, and no quilt police. We will be under the umbrella of the Two Harbors Community Education Program. A typical meeting will consist of a brief welcome and introduction, a game and prize drawing, demonstration, show and tell, question and answer session, idea sharing, and special activities and projects. Ideas for group activities and meetings content will be up to all members. New ideas welcome! Activities could include swap events, challenges, guest speakers, quilt alongs, charity work, trash to cash events, block lotto, trunk shows, quilt shows and more! This group is open to everyone interested in quilting. All skill levels are welcome. Dates for meetings will be the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at T.H.H.S. in the Community Room.
